{"id":1328,"date":"2011-02-20T16:23:42","date_gmt":"2011-02-20T21:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/modologyworld.net\/steph\/?p=1328"},"modified":"2011-02-20T16:25:04","modified_gmt":"2011-02-20T21:25:04","slug":"what-keeps-me-busy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/modologyworld.net\/steph\/?p=1328","title":{"rendered":"What keeps me busy&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Has also been keeping me sane.<\/p>\n<p>My boss asked me once how I know how to do all the stuff that I do.\u00a0 Necessity is the mother of invention for one thing and not only that, I am a doer and a thinker.\u00a0 I\\&#8217;m also exceptionally smart and I work with my hands.\u00a0 I have yet to meet a Chef (including myself) who couldn\\&#8217;t at least <a href=\\\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MacGyver\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\">\\&#8221;MacGyver\\&#8221; <\/a> something to make it work until we could call in a professional.\u00a0 I\\&#8217;m also an artist.\u00a0 Life isn\\&#8217;t one dimensional to me and instead of being a princess and throwing my hands up in the air saying \\&#8221;<em>OMFG THIS IS BROKEN SOMEONE COME FIX IT<\/em>\\&#8221; My first thought that usually comes to mind is:<\/p>\n<p><em>How can I fix\/do this myself?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Being in a creative industry also helps.\u00a0 I use several forms of raw materials and turn them into something else.\u00a0 Sometimes they\\&#8217;re brilliant, sometimes they\\&#8217;re a total train wreck.\u00a0 However, I learn and keep on learning because I enjoy my independence and the ability to do things for me simply because <em>I can<\/em>.\u00a0 I do not relish in being helpless and weak (either mentally or physically) and will try just about anything once.<\/p>\n<p>Including chocolate beer.\u00a0 Which was a mistake needless to say&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>But I digress.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The best part of being a Chef? <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Having one kick ass imagination! <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Behold:<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Has also been keeping me sane.
