So today was rather lackluster at work, it was fairly quiet all day which was a nice change but lead to some epic screwing around at work \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Then I went and got the letter to my landlord printed off since I am sans printer, faxed in my lease renewal since the regie told me to do so, went to the bank, then I hit paydirt at the post office!<\/p>\n
I went in because for one thing I need to send off that later via registered mail to provide proof of receipt, and I needed to send off the last of my contracts to 3 more of my staff members.\u00a0 No\u00a0 biggie!\u00a0 So the mail man was there picking up the last of the mail for that night and kindly waited for me to finish off the paperwork for the registered letter so that it could all go out in tonight\\’s mail as opposed to Saturday which was SO nice!\u00a0 Its such a small thing but it was a nice thing for him to do which I appreciated a lot!\u00a0 I just hope that she got the postage correct since 2 of them are due to go overseas and I would hate for them to be sent back for lack of postage.\u00a0 Just a hassle that I don\\’t really need!<\/p>\n
So I promised Daniel that I would give him a call when I got home from work, something I had been avoiding because he\\’s 6 hours ahead of me in Denmark and I don\\’t like calling people too late because I feel that its rude but he assured me that it was OK.\u00a0 I tried using a phone card which was an epic fail on my part because this is the first time I had ever called someone overseas.\u00a0 So then I tried direct dial which was also a HUGE fail because I wasn\\’t 100% certain just exactly how this routing number\/country code works but I finally figured it out after about oh 10 minutes.\u00a0 Not ALL my fault, because Daniel said his country code was 0045 when really I only needed to dial the 45 after the 011.\u00a0\u00a0 Videotron\\’s rates for overseas calling are based on 3 things: The location, landlines or cell phone.\u00a0 Which I didn\\’t even bother to check until I got OFF the phone.\u00a0 IF Daniel had a landline which in case your wondering he doesn\\’t it wouldn\\’t have cost me nearly as much as this phone call is going to cost me!\u00a0 If it was a regular landline its 10 cents a minute which isn\\’t un-reasonable to say the least!\u00a0 However if you calling a cellphone in Denmark its 41 freaking cents!<\/p>\n
