A very long ass time ago Cher (yes I said Cher) had a hit song out called\u00a0\\”if I could turn back time\u00a0<\/a>\\” which is often what comes to mind when I say something along the lines of words are like weapons (Words are like weapons they wound sometimes).<\/p>\n

Not entirely relevant to this post per se but a fun little fact just the same.<\/p>\n

Anyhoo…<\/p>\n

An interesting thing happened the other day and it was completely by chance. \u00a0It also goes to show you that some people no matter how \\’book smart\\’ they are, are really, really fucking stupid yo!<\/p>\n

It happened a little something like this while we were waiting to meet with one of Nick\\’s friends from the dark ages<\/del> high school:<\/p>\n

Nick: Babe, I forgot my phone at home.<\/p>\n

Me: Do you recall anyone\\’s phone number off the top of your head?<\/p>\n

Nick: No, of course not. Blah blah blah…<\/p>\n

Me: OK well lucky for you, I have data on my phone, i\\’ll just reply to the \u00a0e-mail so that everyone will have my cell number in case someone needs to get in touch with us.<\/p>\n

Nick: Oh well in that case, check and see if so and so\\’s number is in there would you? \u00a0It should be in the e-mail that was sent out. \u00a0We can just call him and get M\\’s number from him.<\/p>\n

Me: I\\’m on it.<\/p>\n

So there I am, scrolling through a pile of e-mails that were sent to pretty much everyone when it became clear to me that they were \\’piggy backing\\’ off of an old thread from a previously planned get together. \u00a0Someone wasn\\’t too bright in doing so because my eye happened to fall upon this from one of Nick\\’s douche friends<\/del> so called good friends e-mail reply…<\/p>\n

\\”Should we invite Nick? \u00a0Maybe he can bring his hot new girlfriend. \u00a0Just kidding, unless you\\’re into that sort of thing\\”\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Thing?<\/p>\n

Since when am I a fucking thing?<\/h1>\n

Listen ass bag, first of all I am A. FUCKING. PERSON. A kick ass one at at.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\\’s common knowledge yo.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Secondly: When you\\’re sending out an e-mail blast perhaps you should start a shiny new composition? \u00a0You know the shiny new one that DOES NOT have you making derogatory remarks about your friends girlfriend? \u00a0Even more so when said friend and his girlfriend are included<\/strong>\u00a0in said e-mail recipients.<\/p>\n

See I personally don\\’t give a shit what you think of me. \u00a0I know that I am not for everyone and that\\’s fine. \u00a0Because let\\’s face it honey, I wouldn\\’t tap that (you) if you were the last offering left on earth, so as far as that\\’s concerned I suppose the feeling is mutual? \u00a0I\\’m clearly not your type judging by your wife, (who is lovely by the way) we\\’re complete and utter opposites of each other.<\/p>\n

That\\’s OK!<\/p>\n

You know what ISN\\’T OK?<\/p>\n

The way you betrayed someone who thought you were a better friend than that.<\/em><\/p>\n

I will not loose any sleep over your small minded opinion of me, nor will I let your poor judgement(s) of myself color my self worth in anyway either.<\/p>\n

My boyfriend on the other hand?<\/p>\n

He\\’s amazing and he deserves much, much better than that. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

He was far, far more tactful than I would ever be when he pointed this\u00a0indiscretion\u00a0out to you. \u00a0And yet you don\\’t have the balls to say anything for yourself.<\/p>\n

\u00a0I do however believe that we all live in glass houses and therefore should not throw stones…<\/strong><\/p>\n
