1. What did you do in 2015 that you\u2019d never done before?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Went to a bunch of cities that I had never been to. Graduated from university. Went camping with Nick (not the first time camping of course, just the first time together). Took my first flight.<\/p>\n

2. Did you keep your new year\u2019s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t bothered with them in years.<\/p>\n

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My cousin\\’s girlfriend gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.<\/p>\n

4. Did anyone close to you die?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. My father passed away on Feb 28th.<\/p>\n

5. What countries did you visit?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sadly I haven\u2019t left Canada in a long, long time.<\/p>\n

6. What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being able to communicate in French on a more functional level. Be more focused.<\/p>\n

7. What dates from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

February 28th. The day my father passed away.<\/p>\n

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graduating university with honors.<\/p>\n

9. What was your biggest failure?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not taking better care of myself.<\/p>\n

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. My depression and anxiety have returned with a vengeance, but i\\’m doing what I can to be kind to myself.<\/p>\n

11. What was the best thing you bought?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A signed print from my favorite artist.<\/p>\n

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nick\u2019s, that boy is nothing short of amazing.<\/p>\n

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My sister.<\/p>\n

14. Where did most of your money go?<\/strong><\/p>\n

School &\u00a0my wedding.<\/p>\n

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planning my wedding \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

16. What song will always remind you of 2015?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hozier, take me to church.<\/p>\n

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am mostly sadder, fatter and richer in a non monetary way.<\/p>\n

18. What do you wish you\u2019d done more of?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Practicing my craft (photography), reading more, learning more.<\/p>\n

19. What do you wish you\u2019d done less of?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being distracted, housework.\u00a0 Wasting time on things\/people\/places that didn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n

20. How did you spend Christmas?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was in Ontario with my family & friends and it was awesome! I had an exceptional Christmas this year!<\/p>\n

21. Did you fall in love in 2015?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every single day. <3 Nick so very much<\/p>\n

22. What was your favorite TV program?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grey\u2019s & The big bang theory<\/p>\n

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn\u2019t hate this time last year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. I wouldn\u2019t go far as to say hate but more despise I think would be appropriate.<\/p>\n

24. What was the best book you read?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I haven\\’t read much this year that merits any mention.<\/p>\n

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Can\u2019t say I have one of those.<\/p>\n

26. What did you want and get?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time with the people I love the most.<\/p>\n

27. What did you want and not get?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A miracle.<\/p>\n

28. What was your favorite film of this year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inside out and home.<\/p>\n

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I turned 37 and had a small, yet fun gathering with family.<\/p>\n

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not being in debt and\u00a0having better mental health.<\/p>\n

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yoga pants, hoodies and t-shirts.\u00a0 I live for comfort.\u00a0 Especially when I spend so much time taking pictures, editing and sitting in a classroom.<\/p>\n

32. What kept you sane?<\/strong><\/p>\n

-My friends, most of my family. I honestly don\u2019t know what I would have done without them this year! I am so very fortunate to have such amazing people in my life!<\/p>\n

-Photography.<\/p>\n

33. Which celebrity\/public figure did you fancy the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s not my style, I could care less about that sort of thing.<\/p>\n

34. What political issue stirred you the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The election.<\/p>\n

35. Who did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jason as always.\u00a0 Nick when I\u2019m on the road without him. My dad.<\/p>\n

36. Who was the best new person you met?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t pick just one, but I\u2019ve met some really great people this year!<\/p>\n

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That some people will stop at nothing to try and make you look bad.<\/p>\n
