Today however will commence to be TMI Thursday (at least for today)…  Years and years ago I got my right nipple pierced (badly) I might add…  Back in 2000 I think, anyway I ended up with blood poisoning as a result of this.  Mainly because your body in defense mode will create a \”pocket\” in order to stop the infection from spreading, which is all fine and well until it erupts.  So I dealt with this situation in 2006 and 3 years later it STILL haunts me!  Or so I think…

It took a year or so for the original infection to clear up, being such a dense area of skin and all.  Which all around sucked in a lot of ways.  Every once in a while it gets itchy and needs to be addressed but aside from that, not a problem right?

WRONG!

The burning sensation is back with a vengeance in a different yet relative location so now I\’m a little freaked out.  It would seem that I have a pea sized formation under the skin and I also have what I am referring to as mini volcanic eruptions in places I shouldn\’t!  So off to the damn clinic I go for yet another (possible) lecture and possibly some antibiotics because I have a sneaking suspicion that  when the original infection erupted all those years ago  it spread and trapped in other regions.  Sounds slightly crazy but hey it took almost 5 years for the first one to come to the surface so this doesn\’t surprise me in the least.

I tell you there\’s nothing sexier then lancing out your boob on a Thursday night.
